2020 Gran Fondo Baie Sainte-Marie cancelled

After careful consideration and monitoring of public health directives surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition of Gran Fondo Baie Sainte-Marie has been cancelled. Our priority is the health and well-being of participants, volunteers, our community and supporters.

During the week of June 1, Gran Fondo Baie Sainte-Marie 2020 registered participants will receive an email regarding our refund process.

We will be back in 2021 with another stellar event that will meet the high quality and expectations that our participants and community have come to expect over the last five years. We hope to see you all on September 18 and 19, 2021!

What is a Gran Fondo?

Gran Fondo means "grand tour" or "great distance" in Italian, which is a mass-start cycling ride which brings together road cyclists of all abilities.

The adrenaline and excitement coupled with the cheering fans lining the sides of the road, many waving Acadian flags and yelling encouragement, makes the first part of the ride fly by. Soon we turn right and begin riding into the backcountry. Rolling hills, brilliant sunshine, and friendly smiles from other riders make the day perfect.
